Mark Chapman introduces highlights from the day’s two Premier League clashes, with the headline fixture between defending champions Manchester City and title rivals Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola’s side haven’t lost at home to the Gunners since he joined the club in 2016 and they have won seven and drawn two of the nine league home clashes since Guardiola took charge. City are also seeking a fifth consecutive Premier League title, and with Arsenal finishing runners-up in each of the past two seasons, this fixture could be pivotal in deciding where the trophy ends up in May.
Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest travelled to the south coast to take on Brighton in the day’s other match, where the visitors were attempting to score a first Premier League goal at the Amex Stadium at the third attempt.
